John Calkins is Executive Vice President, Global Digital and Commercial Innovation for Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE), and responsible for the digital transactional exploitation of SPE's film and television properties around the world, as well as developing and helping to implement an integrated approach to the home entertainment market across both digital and physical channels of distribution. Recently, Calkins led the following efforts: introduced HD EST whereas most studios focused on selling SD but renting HD; lowered price to buy digital content relative to the rental price; introduced mobile and social applications to increase opportunities for consumers to discover and conveniently transact with SPHE content; spearheaded the introduction of enhanced extra features on select digital movie purchases, enabling movie fans to engage with SPHE’s content in innovative, interactive ways; partnered with VUDU to launch the first ever digital movie card at Walmart Stores with "Battle LA”. John is also actively involved in the launch/roll out of Ultraviolet.

Simon Calver is CEO of LOVEFiLM, Europe's largest film subscription service. LOVEFiLM has been innovating on behalf of movie rental customers across Europe for many years. Earlier this year, Simon led LOVEFiLM to a successful exit with its acquisition by internet giant Amazon. Previously, Nolan worked in corporate marketing roles at industry leaders Comcast, Warner Bros., and General Cinema Theatres. Nolan has spoken on numerous industry panels including the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Los Angeles Film Festival, the Produced By Conference, and the Independent Film and Television Alliance (IFTA) Production Conference.
