Sony Pictures Home Entertainment
John Calkins is Executive Vice President, Global Digital and Commercial Innovation for Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE), and responsible for the digital transactional exploitation of SPE's film and television properties around the world, as well as developing and helping to implement an integrated approach to the home entertainment market across both digital and physical channels of distribution. Recently, Calkins led the following efforts: introduced HD EST whereas most studios focused on selling SD but renting HD; lowered price to buy digital content relative to the rental price; introduced mobile and social applications to increase opportunities for consumers to discover and conveniently transact with SPHE content; spearheaded the introduction of enhanced extra features on select digital movie purchases, enabling movie fans to engage with SPHE’s content in innovative, interactive ways; partnered with VUDU to launch the first ever digital movie card at Walmart Stores with "Battle LA”. John is also actively involved in the launch/roll out of Ultraviolet.
Simon Calver is CEO of LOVEFiLM, Europe's largest film subscription service. LOVEFiLM has been innovating on behalf of movie rental customers across Europe for many years. This year alone, LOVEFiLM has garnered partnerships with major film studios such as MGM Studios, Disney, and Optimum for distribution. Earlier this year, Simon led LOVEFiLM to a successful exit with its acquisition by internet giant Amazon. With this new expansion and combined offering, Simon continues to lead the largest digital content evolution in Europe. LOVEFiLM offers the largest range of affordable entertainment with a selection of over 70,000 titles, including films, TV shows and games, available in multiple formats including HD/Blu-Ray DVDs via mail and the LOVEFiLM Player (on the PC, the PlayStation 3 and streamed direct to TV). LOVEFiLM also offers original content, reviews and ticket purchasing services to its growing customer base of over 1.6 million members in the UK, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Germany.

Nolan Gallagher is CEO of Gravitas Ventures, which he founded in 2006. Under Nolan's leadership, Gravitas has released more than 1,000 films on Video on Demand (VOD). Through its relationships with studios and VOD operators, Gravitas can distribute a film into over 100 million North American homes. Previously, Nolan worked in corporate marketing roles at industry leaders Comcast, Warner Bros., and General Cinema Theatres. Nolan has spoken on numerous industry panels including the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Los Angeles Film Festival, the Produced By Conference, and the Independent Film and Television Alliance (IFTA) Production Conference.

John Rubey brings over 25 years of digital content and entertainment marketing experience to his position as President of AEG Network LIVE. Rubey is responsible for the overall vision, entertainment marketing, digital content development and execution of the company's strategic initiatives. Rubey also oversees the filming and distribution of all AEG Network LIVE's music festivals to leading content distributers such as: Hulu, AOL BEBO, MySpace and others, in addition to festival and artist sites, mobile phones and high-definition TV.
