The PGA East Seminars Committee invites you to...
Sizzle Reel Workshop
WILL YOUR REEL GET YOU A DEAL?
Thursday, April 28 at 6:30pm Post Factory NY
161 Ave. of the Americas, 11th floor
Btwn. Spring St. and Vandam St.
PGA Members Only
RSVP NOW OPEN.
You do not need to submit a sizzle reel in order to attend.
You think you have the next Pawn Stars, Real Housewives, Jersey Shore, or Cake Boss? You'll need a sizzle reel to sell it. Whether or not you've produced a sizzle reel yet, come to this event and learn how to make a better reel.
• Does your show idea have an irresistible hook?
• Does your reel introduce interesting and entertaining characters?
• Does your idea fit the network's brand?
Learn the answers to these questions and many others during this informative event. Our current panelists include:
Brie Bryant, Oxygen
Christopher Stout, Notional
Marc Etkind, Animal Planet
Gary Lico, CableReady
Eric Neuhaus, Nancy Glass Productions
We will show a number of members' reels and seek feedback from our panel of industry representatives. This "insider" perspective on your reel may make the difference in helping you get a deal!
Not all reels submitted will be shown, but if you'd like your reality or non-fiction sizzle reel to be considered, please send it on standard DVD by April 25 to:
Producers Guild of America East
100 Ave. of the Americas, Rm. 1240
New York, NY 10013
All reels should be five minutes or less in duration and be suitable for mainstream television. Please submit sizzle reels for shows only (no directors' reels) and send copies, rather than original material. Reels will be available for pick-up after the event, but we cannot be responsible for any lost or missing DVDs, nor will we return reels by mail.
This workshop could be just what you need to take your project to the next level!

reservation, please email: email@example.com. Cancellations must be
