The must-attend gathering of the global non-fiction entertainment community is nearly upon us and the Producers Guild will be attending in a big way. On January 30th, nearly 2000 non-fiction producers and programmers will be descending on the Renaissance Washington DC Downtown Hotel at 999 9th St NW. Will you be there? We sure will. Here's what the National Capital Chapter has in store for all PGA members attending the Summit:
1) LOOK FOR US: PGA BOOTH
We'll be set up on the mezzanine level across from the coat check. Stop by and say hello. Volunteer to help us man the booth. Bring prospective members by for info. We'll hold drawings for prizes every hour, so c'mon by!
2) HAPPY HOUR & PUB QUIZ: FADO Irish Pub
Join us Monday Night for a post-opening party party and Pub Quiz. Test your skill against the local members and learn a bit about what the Nat Cap area has to offer. We'll be giving away prizes for the best Team score.

Come and learn what A&E and Bravo is looking for, what they are not looking for and best ways to pitch them. Elaine Frontain Bryant, Vice President of Non-Fiction & Alternative Programming for A&E Networks gives the insider's insight to her networks. Q&A to follow.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the overwhelming popularity of the breakfast event and the limited available seating, it has become necessary to institute a couple of policies:
1. Although the event is free for PGA members, you must submit a $20 REFUNDABLE deposit to reserve your space at the breakfast. Your deposit will be returned to you when you check in at the GOETHE INSTITUT. If you do not show up, your check or credit card will be processed.
2. Non-members must pre-pay the $20 registration fee to be confirmed for the breakfast.

Speaker: Elaine Frontain Bryant is the Senior Vice President of Non-Fiction & Alternative Programming for A&E and BIO Channel. Frontain Bryant is responsible for overseeing the A&E non-fiction programming team and the development and production of A&E’s industry-leading real life series. Frontain Bryant joined A&E in September of 2005 as Director, Non-Fiction & Alternative Programming and was elevated to Vice President in July 2007. She has served as executive producer on several critically acclaimed and hit real life series including "Criss Angel Mindfreak,” "Paranormal State,” "Billy the Exterminator” and most recently, the network’s most-watched hit, "Storage Wars.” Prior to joining A&E Network,Elaine Frontain Bryantserved as Vice President, Creative Development and Production at Magna Global Entertainment, overseeing the creation and production of original television programming funded by Interpublic Group's Fortune 100 clients. She was an Executive Producer on the original TV movies "The Wool Cap” and "14 Hours,” and the Humanitas Award nominated film, "Saving Milly.” She was co-executive producer of the first two seasons of the series "Blow Out.” Frontain Bryant is a graduate of Texas Christian University and lives in New York with her husband and daughter.
