PGA 2012 DODGER DAY!
Bring a pen, get an autograph. Bring a glove, catch a home run. Just show up, and get a free Bobblehead! Come join us for our annual PGA Dodger Day at Dodger Stadium on Saturday, July 14th, 6:10pm, as the Dodgers take on the San Diego Padres. There is a new atmosphere and new owners at Dodger Stadium: Irvin "Magic” Johnson, Mark Walter, Stan Kasten, Todd Boehly, Bobby Patton Jr. and Mandalay Entertainment Chairman and fellow PGA Member Peter Guber. They have already reduced the parking from $15 to $10, and have committed to putting a winning team on the field. It must be working, as the Dodgers currently have the best record in baseball and are in 1st place in the National League West.
Come see last year’s Cy Young Winner Clayton Kershaw, last year’s Gold Glove winners Kershaw, Andre Ethier and Matt Kemp. Kemp also won the Hank Aaron and Silver Slugger Awards. Kemp was one home run short of 40 home runs and 40 stolen bases, but became the first Dodger to get to 30/30, since Raul Mondesi achieved that in 1997 and 1999.
Oh, and did we mention that the first 50,000 fans will get a free Bobblehead celebrating Tommy Lasorda and Walter Alston, who managed the Dodgers for a combined 43 years?
Your PGA Event Committee has managed to get you field level seats, normally priced at $40, for only $26 each. We are sitting in Section 53 on the field level, next to the Dodger Bullpen in rows J thru O. You can watch Dodger pitchers Chad Billingsley, Chris Capuano, Clayton Kershaw, Aaron Harang and Ted Lilly warm up 10 feet away from us. (If you want to see the seat location, go to Dodgers.com, tickets, seating and pricing, and click on Section 53 to see the location and the seat view.) Bring a glove as many home runs are often hit into our section.
The game starts at 6:10pm, and the parking lots open at 4:10pm. The gate on the field level, third base side (where our seats are), also opens at 4:10pm. All other gates open at 4:40pm. Get there early if you want to get autographs. Last year several of the Dodger pitchers were signing autographs for PGA members before the game.
Hope to see you at Dodger Stadium.
