In the spirit of the 2009 Camera Assessment Series, theASC, PGA, and Revelations Entertainment joined forces to execute the Image Control Assessment Series (ICAS). Over 150 entirely volunteer industry professionals, dedicated to furthering the education of digital cinema, descended upon the historic back lot of Warner Bros Studio.

The result is a unique showcase of the individual characteristics of current high-end digital motion picture cameras and current post-production work-flows. It is also the introduction of ACES (Academy Color Encoding System), the Academy's proposed standard for 4k production workflow. Participating camera manufacturers were Arri Alexa, RED Epic, Sony F-65, Sony F3, Canon C300 and an Arri 35MM Film Camera.

Presentation and Q&A to follow, led by Lori McCreary
(Revelations Entertainment, CEO and head of the Technology Council for the PGA) and David Stump (American Society of Cinematographers).
