CAN I DEDUCT IT?
Tax Filing & Deductions for Freelance Producers

Wednesday, February 13 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm
100 Wall St., 23rd Floor

Btwn
Water & Front St.

There are two things you’re guaranteed in life. A refund isn’t one of them. However, knowing what you can deduct on your tax return as a freelancer can help towards getting one. Are movies and magazines considered research? Can you deduct the cost of your pet project and against what stream of income?

Yes you can talk to friends or go online and research all sorts of information regarding deductions but there is nothing more valuable than the advice of seasoned tax and legal professionals who navigate the entertainment world every day. For one night only you’ll have the opportunity to access that experience.

The employment committee is pleased to present its continuing legal series with "Can I Deduct It? Tax Filing and Deductions for Freelance Producers. This seminar will feature legal and tax experts in the entertainment field. A thirty minute presentation will be followed by a sixty minute question and answer session.
