The PGA East Employment Committee Presents...
SHOULD YOU SIGN IT? MAKING SENSE OF YOUR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT
Tuesday, April 9 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm 100 Wall St., 23rd Floor Btwn Water & Front St. PGA Members only
Employment contracts are becoming a more common request in both short and long term production jobs. In addition to setting forth the basic terms of an agreement employers are looking to protect themselves in a number of areas with indemnification, confidentiality and termination clauses. What does this mean to you? Under what circumstances should you sign a contract?
The evening will cover standard clauses of most employment contracts, employment law and a Q&A. This is an exclusive opportunity for PGA members to: -Get important legal and employment information -Prevent exposure to liability -Get leverage in contract negotiations
