Transmedia development and production techniques have transformed the entertainment business. Comic books, video games, and even toys once considered ancillary are now playing a significant role in the creation and consumption of media. Popular films, television series and novels such as the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Angry Birds, Moshi Monsters, PBS Kids Lab, and The 39 Clues offer rich storylines that allow producers to extend their reach, generate immersive experiences that turn audience members into participants, and open up multiple revenue streams for stakeholders. But what is next?

The Producers Guild of America East and the Children’s Media Association welcome you to an evening with Jeff Gomez, a pioneer and thought leader in transmedia storytelling. In this exclusive talk, Jeff will share inside stories on the very latest creative, business, production, and legal advances in this increasingly sophisticated, global field, with a focus on children's content.

More About Jeff Gomez (@Jeff_Gomez):
Jeff Gomez, CEO of Starlight Runner Entertainment, is the world's leading expert at expanding entertainment properties and premium brands into highly successful transmedia franchises and international campaigns. As a consultant to Fortune 500 companies, Jeff contributes strategic planning and production for the extension of narrative content across digital and traditional platforms. He also extends the story worlds of films, toys, animation, and videogame titles, which generate massive fan communities and multiple revenue streams.

Jeff created the smash hit Hot Wheels animation universe for Mattel, and has worked with such companies as Disney (Pirates of the Caribbean, Fairies, Tron Legacy), 20th Century Fox (James Cameron's Avatar), Sony Pictures Entertainment (Men in Black III), Microsoft (Halo), Coca-Cola (Happiness Factory), Hasbro (Transformers), Pepperidge Farm (Goldfish), and Nickelodeon (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles).
