Everyone is buzzing about Adobe Premiere and their new cloud. What’s the big deal? Here’s your chance to find out.

This one-day intensive workshop at Future Media Concepts (www.fmctraining.com) is tailor-made for the needs of a producer. It’s hands-on (limited to only 8 participants) with the goal of attendees learning the basics of the edit software everyone is talking about!

Please come well-rested since it will be an information jam-packed day.
The curriculum will include:

Lesson 1: Exploring the Interface and Preparing to Edit
Starting the System, Creating a New Project, Exploring the Workspace, Exploring the Editing Interface, Organizing Media, Saving Your Work

Lesson 2: Assembling a Basic Sequence
Opening the Project, Creating a New Sequence, Marking Edit Points, Finding an Audio Edit Cue, Performing Basic Editing, Splicing Clips into the Timeline, Adding Tracks to a Sequence, Editing Audio and Video, Making Edits in the Timeline, Extracting and Lifting Segments from the Timeline

Lesson 3: Ingesting File-Based Media
Opening the Project, Understanding Importing and Media Management, Importing Still Images, Importing Audio Files

Lesson 4: Manual Timeline Editing
Opening the Project, Creating Subclips, Preparing the Project for Editing, Drag-and-Drop Editing, Sorting and Sifting Clips, Building a Storyboard, Arranging a Storyboard, Editing a Storyboard into Sequence, Overwriting Clips into the Timeline, Trimming Segments with Top and Tail, Trimming Segments with Extend
 
Lesson 5: Refining the Edit
Opening and Preparing the Project, Understanding Your Trimming Options, Preparing the Project for Export
