Negotiation and effective communication are the most important aspects of a producer’s job. Producers confront and deal with differences and tensions that can impede the cohesion of their projects, staff, and crew.

Join PGA National Executive Director Vance Van Petten, and educator and entertainment career coach Nancy Goldman, Ed.D., to learn the negotiation tactics and conflict resolution techniques you can apply for more effective problem-solving, listening, and engaging in dialogue.

In this workshop you will:
• Develop strategies to diffuse tension so that conflict can be constructive, rather than destructive.
• Identify your individual conflict style. Discover how you can expand your alternatives.
• Learn ways to refresh your objectivity and perspective to help advance a resolution.

This will be an interactive workshop. Role-playing and live-practicing will be involved - so please bring your problems with you and we’ll help solve them during the Seminar . . . producing problems, of course!
