IndieWire - Kevin Spacey Keynote at Edinburgh Television Festival

Academy Award winning actor and Hollywood staple Kevin Spacey became the first actor to deliver the keynote address at the Edinburgh International Television Festival, the James MacTaggard Memorial Lecture.

Renowned as a Theatre and Film actor, Spacey has embraced the evolution and convergence of programming and production associated with Television, as evidenced by his part in the trailblazing Netflix effort, House of Cards.

Spacey beats the drum for artistry and creativity and highlights the increasingly obfuscated lines between Television and other realms of entertainment by noting, "If audiences are not making those kinds of definitions, why should we?"
