Producer's Challenge entries now being accepted in four categories; submission deadline is April 30th, 2010...
In connection with the 2010 Produced By Conference (PBC) on June 4-6 at Twentieth Century Fox Studios in Los Angeles, the Producers Guild of America (PGA) is accepting submissions for the 2nd Annual Producer's Challenge contest. The annual contest was created by the PGA to help promote the work of emerging storytellers, spotlighting producers who demonstrate outstanding promise in their respective fields and exposing their exciting new projects to a wider industry audience. This year, in addition to separate categories for Narrative Short Films, Documentary Short Films and Independent Webisodes, the PGA has created a new category for Studio and Network-Produced Webisodes.
Submissions will be judged by a panel of award-winning producers from film, television and new media. Finalists will be invited to screen their work for attendees at the 2010 Produced By Conference, one of the industry's largest educational forums, featuring an array of acclaimed speakers, seminars, technology demonstrations, networking opportunities, social events and industry exhibitors. Additional prizes include an all-session badge to the 2011 PBC, a mentoring lunch with an A-list producer and more.
All Producer's Challenge entries must be received by April 30, 2010.
