|2012 Digital VIP|
Nominate a Leader in Emerging Entertainment
Nominees will be submitted by PGA members, an Industry Advisory Board and accredited agencies and PR firms representing digital storytellers. The Producers Guild of America Digital VIP committee, along with a distinguished Industry Advisory board and PGA President, will then, from the nominee list, determine the honorees for 2012.
WHAT IS THE SELECTION CRITERIA?
The PGA acknowledges that the digital landscape fuses together disciplines and thought leadership from a variety of different spaces. We therefore break the criteria into three categories:
Visionaries – three recipients – those who have brought forth new ideas about the creative application of technology to advance storytelling across all media.
Innovators – three recipients – those who have developed new methods, or technology that enables the production of storytelling.
Producers – three recipients – those who have created content whose reach, execution and influence has advanced the audience experience.
Membership in the Producers Guild is not a requirement for eligibility.
WHAT IS THE TIME PERIOD AND SCHEDULE?
August 8 – Nominations Open
September 18 – Nominations Close
Nominations must be submitted between Wednesday, August 8 and 5:00pm PT on Tuesday, September 18. Late submissions will not be considered.
PGA members may submit nominations via the Digital VIP website at www.digital-vip.com.
Non-PGA members who are accredited representatives of digital storytellers may submit nominations to Christopher de Haan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Producers Guild Digital VIP committee will determine the honorees, in conjunction with Producers Guild of America President Mark Gordon and a distinguished list of Industry Advisory Board members.
Digital VIP Committee members include: Co-chairs Shawn Gold, Marc Scarpa, and Chris Thomes (Producers Guild Executive Board and Vice President of the Producers Guild New Media Council), in addition to Laura Allen (New Media Council), Dina Benadon (Producers Guild Executive Board, New Media Council), Bruce Cohen (Producers Guild Executive Board, Producers Council), Jeffrey Lerner (Producers Guild Executive Board, Associate Producers Council Chair), Michael Palmieri (New Media Council), and Mark Cuban (Industry Advisory Board).
THE NOMINATIONS PERIOD HAS ENDED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST.
