Join us for a lively and informative discussion.  Financing a feature film and television project has become more challenging over the years. International Co-Production incentives are one avenue American Producers often consider when trying to finance their projects when looking at shooting overseas.

But there are many aspects of production, sales, and distribution a Producer should consider when embarking on the road to co-production deal. There are a wide variety of co-production deals out there…which are worth considering from both a financial and physical production point of view? What are the pitfalls that await a Producer and what can you do to get the most out of your co-production deal? And, how can your co-production deal help you in both sales and distribution of your final product?  How does it impact you overall budget?

MODERATED BY:

MARK LITWAK – A veteran entertainment lawyer, arbitrator and author, his practice includes work in the areas of copyright, trademark, contract, multimedia law, intellectual property, and book publishing.  Litwak also functions as a Producer's Rep, assisting filmmakers in the marketing and distribution of their films.

CONFIRMED PANELISTS:

NICOLAS CHARTIER: President/Owner Voltage Pictures

DAN LUPOVITZ: Independent Producer
LOU PHILLIPS: Senior Executive Vice President, Phoenix Pictures
