Hello PGA East Student Program Participants!

We hope that you all have been keeping warm these past few weeks given the not so kind NYC weather. We're really excited to announce our February Documentary and Grant workshop featuring two extraordinary panelists: Kevin Duggan, Director of Development for Games for Change, a non-profit organization that empowers social innovators to drive real-world change and Matthew Seig, a multimedia consulting specialist well versed in areas of fundraising and audience development.

Please find their brief bios below:


Kevin Duggan specializes in planning, fundraising and organizational development for nonprofit cultural organizations, particularly those making innovative use of media and technology. He has worked with a wide variety of organizations including Tribeca Film Institute, Independent Television Service, Anthology Film Archives, Harvestworks, Eyebeam, The Jewish Museum, School of Visual Arts, Games for Change, African Film Festival, the Atlantic Foundation, and many others. Previously, Kevin served as Senior Advancement Officer at the Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) a state-of-the-art production and performance facility on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He was also Senior Program Officer for Services, Technology at the New York Foundation for the Arts, where he was responsible for NYFA’s arts and technology programs.


Matthew Seig is a Media Specialist at New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA), Matthew Seig consults with film and media artists during all stages of their work, primarily on the subject of fundraising and audience development. He has produced or directed numerous films and television programs, has programmed theaters and festivals, and manages a media library that includes the copyrights of the late producer/director Robert Altman. In addition to his work with NYFA he exhibits films and runs educational programs as Executive Director of Rivertown Film Society in Nyack, NY.
