Additional Speakers, Mentors, and "Producers Mashup" Participants Added To Produced By Conference

LOS ANGELES (May 12, 2018) – The Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced today additional speakers and moderators who have been added to the line-up for the tenth annual Produced By Conference (PBC 2018) in Los Angeles, which will be held Saturday, June 9 and Sunday, June 10 at Paramount Pictures Studios. Additionally, mentors have been confirmed for the wildly popular Mentor Roundtables and participants are locked in for the second annual “Producers Mashup.”

The Produced By Conference’s popular Mentoring Roundtables give attendees a chance to ask questions about their own projects in development and learn in a more personalized, intimate setting with real one-on-one feedback. No pitching is allowed -- the Roundtables are intended simply to answer questions and provide insight into the nature of a successful producing career. Mentor Roundtables will be scheduled all day on Saturday, June 9, and are sponsored by Film Shasta.

After its overwhelming success at last year’s inaugural event, the Producers Guild is proud to bring back the “Producers Mashup,” which is specifically scheduled for Sunday, June 10 in the afternoon and features four distinct tracks -- Feature Film, Scripted Television, Unscripted Television and Digital Media -- seating a small group of participants at a table with a producer or executive, during which time the group will have 15 minutes to ask questions. When time is up, mentors rotate to another table and each group of participants receives guidance from a new mentor.  Each table will have the opportunity to meet with three mentors over the course of the event, including at least one producer and one development executive. This event is not for “pitching” project ideas – the PGA is offering PBC 2018 attendees unique access to knowledge from among the best producers in the business. The Producers Mashup is sponsored by Honolulu Film Office.
